Brief service degradation due to failed SIP proxy
Incident Report for Simwood Hosted
Resolved
One of the customer facing SIP proxies became unresponsive due to a disk error and as a result, the container was automatically destroyed and recreated elsewhere. Meanwhile, customers with UAs respecting DNS SRV records will have seen outbound calls failover seamlessly to another proxy, albeit with a slightly elevated post-dial delay. Inbound calls may have been affected where the most recent SIP registration was to the failed proxy, however this will have resolved very quickly once the registration was renewed by the user-agent.

During the time the failed instance was being recreated, the platform was operating on a reduced level of redundancy, however we can confirm this has been fully restored to previous levels.
